As you'd expect, communication is vital to our business

We realised this early on and we were the first same day courier company in Europe to offer real-time internet booking to our clients. Until that point the only electronic systems in use were booking via email. We wanted to offer a more accurate, precise and time-sensitive service. So we developed a system that enabled our controllers and our clients to track any job in real time.

Today we remain at the forefront of our industry and use a number of hi-tech systems to ensure we know exactly what's going on out on the road:

Mobile communications

As well as using mobile phones, all our drivers now use XDA handsets with a bespoke mobile data solution and a messaging system that allow us to deliver job information and track job status at all points in the journey. It also gives us pick up times and can provide journey quotes easily and simply based on postcodes.

Dedicated lines of communication

8 digital radio channels give us clear, dedicated lines of communications between riders, drivers and controllers.

Real-time tracking

All vehicles have GPS tracking devices fitted and all bike couriers carry mobile GPS units which enable both controllers and clients to track and view each job in real-time on any internet device.
